Why Thailand PGT

International care should feel personal, not complicated.

Choosing fertility treatment abroad involves more than choosing a clinic. You need to understand the medical plan, the laboratory conversation, your travel timeline and what happens after you return home.

We sit between the patient and the provider as an independent coordination layer: translating complexity, preparing better questions and keeping the journey connected without replacing your doctor.

01

Clinical fit before popularity

We compare options around your case, not a one-size-fits-all “best clinic” list.

02

Transparent scope

You see what coordination includes, what the hospital provides and what still needs confirmation.

03

Evidence-aware language

No guaranteed outcomes, universal add-ons or inflated success-rate claims.

04

Continuity across borders

Reports, appointments, travel details and follow-up remain organised from home to Bangkok.

PGT explained

Start with the clinical question.

PGT examines cells sampled from embryos created through IVF. It can provide information for specific clinical situations, but it has limits and is not a guarantee of pregnancy or a healthy child.

A

Chromosome number screening

PGT-A

Provides information about the number of chromosomes in sampled embryo cells. Its role should be discussed individually rather than presented as routine for everyone.

Ask about mosaic and no-result findings
M

Single-gene conditions

PGT-M

May be considered where a specific inherited single-gene condition has been identified. Test development and genetic counselling are often part of planning.

Usually requires case-specific preparation
SR

Structural rearrangements

PGT-SR

May be relevant when a parent carries a chromosome structural rearrangement. The laboratory approach depends on the documented finding.

The patient journey

From first questions
to a clear plan.

One coordinator keeps the administrative journey connected. Your treating doctor and clinic remain responsible for all medical decisions, consent and care.

01

Private case review

Share your history, goals and existing reports. We organise the questions that matter before any clinic conversation.

02

Clinic matching

Receive a short, transparent comparison based on clinical fit, communication needs, timing and budget—not a generic ranking.

03

Doctor consultation

Meet the clinical team remotely, review the proposed protocol and clarify PGT indications, limits and alternatives.

04

Bangkok treatment

We coordinate appointments, translation, local logistics and a clear day-by-day plan while the clinic delivers medical care.

05

Results & next steps

Your doctor explains embryo testing results and transfer options. We help keep records, travel and follow-up organised.

Costs & planning

See the whole journey,
not just a package price.

A responsible estimate separates medical and non-medical items, shows assumptions and explains what could change after consultation.

Questions worth asking

Clear answers.
Careful language.

Fertility treatment is personal and medically complex. These answers are educational and cannot replace advice from your clinician or genetic counsellor.

01Is “third-generation IVF” the same as PGT?+

The phrase is widely used in some markets, but English-speaking clinics generally use preimplantation genetic testing (PGT). PGT may include PGT-A, PGT-M or PGT-SR, depending on the clinical question.

02Does every IVF patient need PGT-A?+

No. PGT-A is not automatically appropriate for every patient, and evidence does not support presenting it as a universal add-on. A fertility specialist should discuss your age, history, embryo numbers, alternatives, limitations and possible result types.

03Can you guarantee a healthy baby or successful pregnancy?+

No ethical coordinator or clinic can guarantee an embryo, pregnancy, live birth or a particular outcome. Results vary with age, diagnosis, ovarian response, sperm factors, embryo development, laboratory findings and other individual circumstances.

04How long should we plan to stay in Thailand?+

The timeline depends on whether monitoring starts at home, the stimulation protocol, retrieval timing, embryo development, testing turnaround and whether transfer occurs in a later cycle. We build an individual travel plan after the clinic confirms your protocol.

05Can PGT be used for non-medical sex selection?+

Availability and legality depend on the indication, clinic policy, professional standards and current Thai rules. We do not promise access. Your treating clinic must confirm what is medically and legally available for your case.

06Are you a hospital?+

No. Thailand PGT is an independent international patient coordination service. Medical diagnosis, treatment, laboratory testing and consent are provided by licensed clinics and clinicians.
