A clearer decision path

Know what to ask
before you decide.

Build a complete IVF and PGT-A budget by separating the clinical cycle, embryo biopsy, laboratory testing, storage and transfer.

01

Separate the IVF cycle from the testing pathway

A PGT-A quotation may sit on top of the IVF or ICSI cycle. Confirm whether stimulation monitoring, medication, retrieval, anaesthesia, fertilisation and embryo culture are included elsewhere.

02

Ask how the laboratory fee is calculated

Testing may be quoted as a setup fee, a bundle covering a stated embryo number or a per-embryo amount. Ask what happens if fewer or more embryos are available than expected.

  • Embryo biopsy
  • Laboratory analysis
  • Embryo transport where applicable
  • Report interpretation
  • Policies for repeat or no-result testing
PGT-A cost componentWhat to verify
Clinical IVF cycleWhether it is outside the PGT-A quote
Embryo biopsyWhere it is performed and whether it is separately billed
Genetic analysisSetup, embryo-number limit and no-result policy
Freezing and storageInitial period, renewal date and release terms
Later transferThawing, medication, monitoring and procedure scope
04

Use a dated, itemised comparison

Compare written quotations in the same currency and record their validity date. Mark every exclusion, estimated item and cost that may change with medication response or embryo development.

  • Request the same embryo-number assumption
  • Confirm whether repeat or inconclusive testing is included
  • Record storage duration and renewal terms
  • Ask who explains the report and how results affect next steps
